In my free time I skate for a team that is part of Tucson Roller Derby and I also help with our bout posters and social media posts. I do a lot of collaborations with our head of Art Department with helping take her drawings and bringing them to life with color, but I’ve also been able to create my own designs from scratch. Here are a handful of examples of my poster designs.

This was the season opening bout of 2017 for Tucson Roller Derby. The cartoon skaters was drawn by Crystal Bartz and then was colored in with the poster by Katie Rousos.

This was the poster and button design for ¬†Tucson Roller Derby’s annual Dust Devil Tournament. The girl in the middle of the poster and on the buttons was drawn by Crystal Bartz and was colored in and designed by Katie Rousos.

This was the poster and button design for the April Double Header Bout for Tucson Roller Derby. The poster was design by Katie Rousos and was inspired by grungey collages, graffiti and old school roller derby artwork.

This was the button designs for a Harry Potter themed mash up bout for Tucson Roller Derby. The buttons are based off of the four houses for Harry Potter and then one to represent the whole school.
